Why do I need a lawn maintenance program?

Landscape maintenance includes mowing of lawn; edging areas bordered by sidewalks, curbs and driveways; removing clippings and organic material caused by mowing and edging from sidewalk, curbs, driveways and other surfaced areas; pruning bushes, shrubs and small ornamental trees; trimming perennials, grasses and ground covers; leaf removal and planting bed maintenance. Most homeowners are too busy to provide the constant care usually necessary to maintain an attractive turf. An effective maintenance program also involves fertilization, watering and weed control. A lawns appearance, after it has been established depends on a sound maintenance program.

What does landscape maintenance cost?

We determine the cost for maintenance service based on the size of your lawn, planting beds and the amount of pruning required and exactly what services you choose. Give us a call to receive an estimate of cost for maintenance for your property.

Do I need to sign a contact?

Yes. By signing our contract you enable us to provide the best service possible and you will know what services will be preformed and when they will be performed.

How frequently will you mow my lawn?

Mowing frequency and mowing height are determined by the turf type and the season of the year. According to the respective season, we mow once every 4 to 7 days depending on the rate of growth.

Will my driveway and walkway area be cleaned off during every visit?

Yes, we use blowers to clean all clippings and organic material caused by our mowing and edging from sidewalk, curbs, driveways and other surfaced areas immediately after mowing, trimming and edging.

What is included in fall leaf removal?

Leaves will be removed from lawns, sidewalks, driveways and all hard surfaces. We dispose leaves in an area determined by the customer. If customer has requested that we remove the leaves from the property, depending on the volume an additional charge may be incurred.

Why do I need to mulch my beds?

Mulch is an organic covering applied to tree and shrub beds. Mulch beautifies your property - gives it appeal Mulch reduces weeds - keeping maintenance to a minimum Mulch retains ground moisture – reduces the need for watering Mulch protects roots from heat damage - it's a natural insulation Mulch enriches the soil as it decomposes – reducing the need for constant fertilization.
