His passion for landscape care has propelled him to become an important part of the East End landscape and tree care industry. He is the Director of Horticulture at LongHouse Reserve and is a Certified Arborist. His name and good reputation are well known throughout the East End by clients and industry peers.

Monica Balog x 105Office Manager
Monica has a background in economics and 14 years of office experience, 10 of which have been with Ray Smith & Associates. She has also completed several training courses with Dale Carnegie, Paychex, etc. to stay current with her skills. As Office Manager, Monica oversees the company's accounts receivable, scheduling, and day to day office operations. She is also a New York State Certified Notary Public.

Tom Volk x 100Certified Arborist
Tom is a graduate of St. Michael’s College with a B.A. in political science and is a Certified Arborist and NY DEC Certified Applicator. Tom has taken his love and enthusiasm for the outdoors and become an integral arborist for our team. Going on his 8th year with Ray Smith & Associates, Tom serves the Southampton area as well as areas West of the Shinnecock Canal.

Rebekah is a graduate of SUNY-Cobleskill with a Bachelor of Plant Science and Technology. She is a Certified Arborist and NYS DEC Certified Applicator and has a background in integrated pest management and plant diagnostics. She has a passion for botany and plant identification. In her 5th year with Ray Smith & Associates, Rebekah is pleased to be transitioning into a Sales Arborist role where she can more actively care for your property.
